Derek Boshier was born in Portsmouth 19th June 1937 and he never forgot where he came from. ‘Portsmouth is always on my mind ‘is what he told me shortly before he died in September 2024. We will be remembering Derek Boshier on what would have been his 88th birthday this Thursday 19th June with an exhibition by artists paying tribute to a true creative powerhouse from Portsmouth.
